“Life is too boring to fit in,” is Alpine's message, dropping another hint at a potential full switch to pink for the 2024 season.
Alpine will run an all-pink livery in the first three races of both the 2022 and 2023 seasons, with title sponsor BWT adopting the livery as its own and taking it from previous sponsor Racing Point. It took over.
Pink first appeared as a secondary color when the A522 and A523 livery reverted to predominant blue, but the second new teaser for Alpine's 2024 livery shows that this time pink is back again, and perhaps even more. It suggests that it will be featured prominently.
Is Alpine planning an all-pink color scheme in 2024?
After posting to X on Wednesday with a zoomed-in photo of a pink camouflage color scheme that read, “Blending in is the new standing out,” Alpine may double down on it with another post on Saturday.
When announcing the partnership with BWT in 2022, Alpine's statement at the time said: “Alpine has committed to using BWT's iconic pink branding to combine F1 and F1's global platform to further spread its message of sustainability and social responsibility around the world,” the automotive industry said.
“The pink color symbolizes BWT’s mission to ‘change the world – one sip at a time’ and to make every day a little better by introducing the Bottle Free Zone concept.”
