The Taylor Swift effect is clearly in place, with Kansas City Chiefs fans welcoming the Grammy Award winner with open arms ever since she started dating tight end Travis Kelce.
However, there are some naysayers who argue that Swift's influence is on the negative side. NFL legend Tony Dungy is the latest person to blame Taylor Swift for declining fan interest in the league.
But Chiefs owner Clark Hunt doesn't take that view.

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt waxes lyrical about Taylor Swift's impact on the team
In an interview with CNBC this week, the Kansas City Chiefs owner made his thoughts on Taylor Swift clear.
“It's been a very interesting and very fun year of them dating,” Hunt said. “The Chiefs are getting a lot of attention. The number of female viewers has increased dramatically.”
In response to the wild theory that the NFL lobbied Swift to date Travis Kelce to boost ratings, Hunt responded:
“It was a purely natural thing. When they first started dating, a lot of people were saying, 'No, it's a marketing stunt,' but no, it's very real, and most importantly The thing is, we're very happy with two of them.”
Taylor Swift's Travis Kelce-themed jacket becomes a hot topic during the NFL playoffs
Last weekend, Taylor Swift was in attendance when Kansas City played the Miami Dolphins in the NFL Wild Card Round at Arrowhead Stadium.
Despite rumors of the game being postponed, the two teams clashed hard, with Kansas City winning 26-7 for a commanding victory.
While the scoreline told its own story of dominance, another story that stood out at the match was Taylor Swift's apparel.
Travis Kelce's teammate Kyle Juschuk's wife Kristin gave Swift a shot, designing a custom jacket for the “Blank Space” singer for a playoff game.
Swift's outfit quickly went viral, with San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle's wife Claire praising her fashion sense.
“@kristinjuszczyk The detail on that jacket is amazing!” Kittle commented before tagging Kyle Juszczyk. “@juicecheck44 would be proud.”
Kristin Juszczyk also designed gymnastics legend Simone Biles' match day outfit. The downside to her popularity was that fake jackets were selling for over $600 each.
Shortly after, Juszczyk warned Chiefs fans:
“Hello everyone! I would like to say that I do not sell these jackets, this is illegal and you need a license to sell them. We will explore ways to get these to you. In the meantime, be wise and don’t participate!”
Kansas City will play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at Orchard Park.
