The pantry is open to Escambia County residents with a valid driver's license, but exceptions may be made depending on the situation and number of donations available. The pantry is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Jo Jo's Paws previously operated a pantry at another location on Fairfield Drive until the building was sold, but recently moved into the Escambia County Animal Welfare Facility. Since April 2023, Jo Jo's Paws has distributed over 8,300 pounds of pet food to individuals in need, including 894 pounds of pet food distributed in the first half of November alone.
Jo Jo's Paws is funded by donations. The most important things you'll need are cat and dog food (wet or dry), cat and dog treats, and at least 1 gallon of resealable plastic storage bags. The organization accepts all pet supplies, including pet jackets and clothing, pet beds, blankets, collars and leashes, kitty litter, and more.
Donations can be dropped off at the Escambia County Animal Welfare Center, 200 W. Fairfield Drive, Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cordova Mall Ball raises funds for Studer Family Children's Hospital
The Cordova Mall Ball, with a portion of proceeds going to support Studer Family Children's Hospital, will be held on Saturday, January 20th.
Mole Ball has been recognized as a community ball since 1994. The Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation has been producing the ball for many years, and the Pensacola Mardi Gras team is partnering with them to increase interaction between krewes and grow it into an event that appeals to both. Local and out-of-town Mardi Gras crowd. This is an opportunity to introduce your crew to potential local members and show those outside the city how energetic your crew is, all while supporting a good cause.
The night will feature local restaurants serving appetizer-sized specialty menus, as well as multiple bars and even a specialty Hurricane bar and bourbon bar. Office Pride donates to school lunch debt
PENSACOLA – Employees at the Downtown Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services Christmas Party participated in a 50-50 raffle to raise money for the Escambia County School District's lunch debt. The company matched the money raised and donated a total of $1,260 to the school to offset students' negative lunchroom balances. This donation cut the district's school lunch debt in half.
