5. A man is accused of trying to rob a convenience store with a 5-foot-tall snake wrapped around his neck. Police in Memphis, Tennessee, said Reginald Cook first entered the store around 2 a.m. Then he asked for money at the register. The cashier refused and Cook left. The man returned about an hour later and again demanded money, this time with a snake wrapped around his neck. Cook was arrested and charged, but not for armed robbery since the snake had no weapon.
