In his first season, McCasland led the Red Raiders to a 23-11 overall record and a berth in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. The way he interacts with players, staff, media and fans during his program is done with kindness and respect that glorifies the Lord. As an FCA member, McCasland has won the right path through character and toughness every time he has been coached along his journey, always being empathetic and sharing his testimony, and being active at local FCA huddles and banquets. McCasland recently spoke to thousands of college students at an on-campus outreach event hosted at Texas Tech University's basketball arena in partnership with FCA and several local churches.
