Clarksville, Tennessee – Clarksville Online brings you weekly pets from rescue organizations in need of good homes in Clarksville-Montgomery County and surrounding areas. Pet of the Week is for the week of April 15, 2024.
Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes are available through local animal shelters and animal shelters, as well as helping homeless animals through adoption programs and donations, as well as supporting fundraisers and other family-friendly activities. There are also opportunities to do so.

Finder Keeper Cat Rescue
Kuei is an adorable short-haired female cat. She is fully examined, spayed, and potty trained. Quasi previously had an injury to her shoulder, which has healed and she now walks like a leopard. It doesn't affect her at all, she loves jumping on toys and she gets along well with dogs, but she prefers no children or cats in the house.

Daisy is a 5 year old large adult female coonhound. She is a family hound (not hunting), has been fully vetted, takes all precautions, is spayed and trained in her home, and gets along well with other dogs and children . She would like a home without cats. she please She is very affectionate and enjoys walks. Her leash manners require a bit of retraining, but she corrects them well. She loves hiking, adventure, and a big garden!!

Stewart County Faithful Friends Animal Rescue
Shamrock is a 2-3 year old female black Labrador mix. She is fully vetted and spayed, keeps her kennel very clean, and loves to play. Although she still has puppy energy, she plays a lot with her best friend Draco at the rescue. She plays hard, but after she's done she calms down. She would be a great jogging partner and she loves going on adventures.

Loki is a truly handsome 2 year old male German Shepherd. He is fully vetted, neutered, and kennel/house trained. Loki prefers a calm energy environment. He prefers older, calmer children and older, calmer, less energetic dogs. Loki is dealing with self-confidence and separation anxiety and requires a sturdy wire kennel when left alone.

Dash is a 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd. He is cheerful, very strong, friendly and very smart. He is neutered, fully vetted, chipped, and crate trained. He gets along well with other dogs and prefers a home without children.
Dash needs a home with an alpha leader who is familiar with the breed, and will continue his training with a non-averse professional trainer. Dash is very intelligent and picks up training easily, but requires consistency and effort to keep him in top condition, so someone knowledgeable about the breed is recommended.

Joe is a 2 year old male Treeing Walker Coonhound/Chocolate Lab mix. He is friendly, loving, loyal, playful, smart and funny. Joe has been fully examined, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and has all hardware and flea and tick preventatives.
He gets along well with other dogs, but has never been with a cat. Joe does well with older well-behaved children and currently weighs 80 pounds.
