A video of a dead ant inside a samosa in a Delhi University canteen has taken the internet by storm. The video, shared by Instagram handle du_india, shows dead red ants spread on samosas purchased from DU's Dyal Singh canteen.
The video begins with a person showing dead ants stuck to the stuffing of a samosa. When the camera cuts to another person's plate, ants are also visible on another samosa. The text of the video reads, “Ants found in Dyal Singh University mine. Delhi University canteen.”
Sharing the video, the Instagram handle wrote, “Ants were found in the mines of Dyal Singh University. Me and my friend bought these from the canteen of Dyal Singh University and we found ants in the food. Please post this so everyone knows about this and avoid buying food from the cafeteria.”

The video was shared on April 7 and garnered countless reactions on the platform. In response, one user joked: “Stop making excuses and just eat (the extra protein).” Another user sarcastically wrote: “So cute that they're feeding the ants too!” Delhi University was grateful that someone had to think about that poor Ali. ”
“It's different when a restaurant changes its name from veggie patty to non-veg patty,” joked a third user. Another user responded: “Crispy on the outside, crunchy on the inside.”
