Throughout their long lives, they pursued separate interests against medical expectations. The twins were born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, with separate brains but joined at the skull. Over the years, they appeared in documentaries, talk shows and an episode of the FX medical drama “Nip/Tuck.” George came out as transgender in 2007. Lori was a good bowler, and George was a country singer.
