Beer brands are increasingly experimenting with unique local ingredients to add a flavorful twist to their alcoholic beverages. Recently, local craft beer company Bira 91 launched Chutney Sour, a limited release beer inspired by the flavors of Indian street food and brewed with tamarind, a key ingredient in chutneys.
For the new beer variation, Bira 91 collaborated with US-based craft beer maker New Belgium Brewing. “We couldn't be more excited about our collaboration with New Belgium Brewing. Colorado is the beer innovation capital of the world, and New Belgium is America's most respected beer company,” said Bill 91's said Ankur Jain, Founder and CEO.
