Starting this month, you can get even more perks and savings when you run Target locally.
The popular discount retailer will now offer shoppers three new membership options under its Target Circle loyalty program. One is a free membership, a retail card option, and a new paid membership that includes same-day delivery and other perks.
The loyalty program revamp begins during Target Circle Week, April 7-13, and rewards members can enjoy a one-day 10% off Target gift card sale in April, plus select spring items. Get up to 40% off. 13.
A company spokesperson told Yahoo Finance that the new product launch is part of the company's broader focus on providing customers with a more affordable and cost-effective shopping experience. It is said that
“Since Target's founding, we have prioritized building strong relationships with our guests, and Reimagining Target Circle continues that commitment,” said Target Executive Vice President and Chief Guest Experience Officer. Kara Sylvester said.
Target (TGT) is also in a position to compete with Amazon Prime and Walmart Plus in the delivery market.
New Target Circle 360 Subscription Service
Launching April 7th, Target 360 is a new paid loyalty program priced at $99 for an annual subscription and $49 for a limited time agreement through May 18th.
Subscriptions include free same-day shipping and are advertised as being delivered “in as little as an hour” with no fees. Members also enjoy free 2-day shipping through Target's shipping service, Shipt. Additionally, Target Circle 360 members have access to the Shipt catalog from over 100 retail partners, including Sephora, Ulta Beauty, and Petco, for fast shipping.
New Target Circle 360 members will also have access to “rush returns.” This means you have an additional 30 days to return purchased items. Target Circle Cardmembers also have access to extended cash back benefits.
The launch of Target's new paid membership service comes nearly 20 years after Amazon (AMZN) introduced Amazon Prime in 2005. This popular membership service is known for its free and unlimited same-day or two-day delivery service throughout the United States.
Amazon's Prime membership benefits now also include Amazon Fresh deals, which allow subscribers in certain cities to shop for groceries and household items. Customers can also use their Prime membership at checkout to receive special discounts when shopping at their local Whole Foods.
Prime members often look forward to Amazon Day, where they can benefit from additional discounts on Amazon products like the Kindle and Echo, as well as other major appliances and household goods.
Amazon Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year.
Recently, Walmart (WMT) announced Walmart+, a subscription and membership plan that costs $12.95 per month or $98 per year.
Like its competitors, Walmart+ benefits include unlimited free shipping and free shipping from stores. This also includes fuel savings, video streaming with Paramount+, and early access to promotions and events.

Free membership registration for Target Circle
Target Circle is the store's free-to-join loyalty membership where you can earn 1% cash back on your purchases at Target, and up to 5% cash back if you have a Target credit card. This membership will remain relatively the same, but as part of the update, consumers will receive more personalized offers and discounts on in-store and online products not available to non-members.
Additionally, Target Circle members receive 5% off one purchase on their birthday.
What are its main benefits? Members automatically receive discounts at checkout, so you don't have to hunt around for deals and discounts yourself.

Target Circle Card (formerly known as Target Red Card)
As part of a broader upgrade, Target Circle members with a Target Circle card (formerly known as Target RedCard) can save up to 5% off select purchases on top of existing store sales. It will be available for purchase.
However, there are some exceptions. According to Target, members are not eligible for the additional 5% discount on prescriptions, CVS Pharmacy products, paid gift cards, etc.
Target Circle cardholders also enjoy a 30-day extended return period, free two-day shipping when you buy online, and discounted pricing on Target Circle 360 memberships.
