MATTOON — Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is currently gathering information from community members for a Community Health Needs Assessment to identify both current needs and social determinants of health.
Public meetings will be held across the region and residents will be asked to share their thoughts on the most important health-related needs in their community.

- Friday, April 12, 10 a.m. to noon, Elizabeth Titus Public Library, 2 West Water St., Sullivan.
- Tuesday, April 16, 1-3 p.m., Newton Public Library, 100 S. Van Buren St., Newton.
- Wednesday, April 17, 10 a.m. to noon, First Christian Church, 200 SE 8th St., Casey.
- Thursday, April 18, 1-3 p.m., Paris Carnegie Public Library, 207 S. Main St., Paris.
- Wednesday, April 24, 1-3 p.m., Center Point Church, 1616 Veterans Ave., Vandalia.
- Monday, April 29, 10 a.m. to noon, Mattoon Station, 1718 Broadway Ave., Mattoon.
- Monday, April 29, 1-3 p.m., Charleston Public Library, 6th Street and Van Buren Avenue, Charleston.
- Wednesday, May 1, 1-3 p.m., Effingham County Courthouse, 101 N. 4th St., Effingham.
- Thursday, May 2, 1-3 p.m., Neal YMCA, 130 Courthouse Square, Toledo.
- Friday, May 3, 10 a.m.-noon, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 12101 N. Chestnut St., Shelbyville.

Community Health Needs Assessments are conducted every three years and are a tool to better understand the unique needs of local communities. Data is collected from a variety of sources, including community service and nonprofit officials, community members, and anonymous surveys on the Sarah Bush Lincoln website.
