Michelle Signore joins Simon & Schuster UK in the newly created role of Deputy Publishing Director for Imprint Gallery, reporting to Holly Harris, Director of Adult Nonfiction Publishing. She will be leading List into the realm of personal development and lifestyle for the first time.
Mr Signore moves to his new role from Bonnier Books UK, where he has been editorial director of Lagom. Over her three years at Lagom, she published her Kate Silverton book. Prior to working at Lagom, he was editorial director at Transworld for 10 years.
“We are very excited to have Michelle join us to take the gallery to a whole new market,” said Harris. “We launched the imprint three years ago with the aim of building a carefully curated list of bestsellers and becoming the destination publisher for entertainment publishing in the UK. We are stepping into that sector of the market and this appointment is a strategic one to take us into the lifestyle and personal growth space. ”
Mr. Signore continued, “I had the most wonderful three years at Bonnier and was very happy to lead the Largom organization. Of course, I am incredibly sad to be leaving such wonderful authors and colleagues. However, Holly and This opportunity to join his peers was too tempting to pass up: “The amazing team at Gallery was too tempting to pass up. I'm very excited to be working with them and helping them build their publication in the lifestyle space.”
