The Connecticut Humane Society is asking the public to donate dry dog food to help keep pet food pantries stocked.
Your pantry especially needs dog food from Purina One, Pedigree, Blue Buffalo, and other grain-free brands.

Pet food pantries “play a vital role in ensuring that the pets of families facing financial hardship receive the nutrition they need to stay healthy and happy.” With the rise and economic challenges across the state, additional resources are urgently needed to help families in need. ” states the release.
Cash donations are always accepted online at CThumane.org/Donate or by check and mailed to CHS. Donations of dry dog food and other pet-related items can be accepted at any of his three CHS locations:
- Newington: 701 Russell Road, Newington
- Waterford: 169 Old Colchester Road, Quaker Hill
- Westport: 455 Post Road East, Westport
