“Shinny” is patiently waiting to be adopted by her forever family at the City of Vicksburg Animal Shelter.
About Shinny
Shinny was named after Frank “Ole Blue Eyes” Sinatra for his striking blue eyes. A 1-year-old Labrador/Cur mix, Lover is the perfect hunting partner or family dog. Shinnies are gentle and friendly with cats and other dogs. She really loves people, so all she wants is to be loved and petted.
The place she came to pick me up was Ameristar Casino. Shelter director Casey Lindsay knew someone would adopt her because of her striking appearance and kind personality. It seems like she had a family of her own before she was living on the streets. In the end, there is no one to take her in and she is not yet her adopted child. “She's shocked that she's still there,” Lindsey said. “People always adopt things that look different like her.”
she is very smart Shinny is great on a leash and she listens very well. Her coloring is creamy beige and brindle, and she features an adorable red nose. Currently she is medium in size, but she may have some room to grow. The only thing missing in her life is a perfect family or partner in crime. She is perfect to grow with her children and would also be an excellent adventure companion for single-person households.

Can you become Shinny's hero too?
Dogs come to City Shelter every week. Not all of them are lucky enough to find loving homes. This dog is unique and adorable. She needs the comfort of warm knees and a soft bed. Shinny is destined to become her lifelong friend and member of her loving family.
