From October 2023 to March 2024, the program provided dedicated training to Central Asian countries and support to representatives of 40 companies from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

The Business and Human Rights Accelerator, recently launched in February, and the Climate Ambition Accelerator, scheduled for May, will increase the local business community's commitment to the SDGs, according to Michaela Freeberg Storey, UN Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan. Accelerator programs have proven to be effective tools to foster growth, create job opportunities, and encourage innovation to address societal challenges. We are also actively involving businesses in the fight against climate change.
Currently, 62 companies from Kazakhstan are members of the United Nations Global Compact.
