Welcome to the weekend edition of Hashtag Trends. I'm your host, Jim Love. This long weekend I thought I'd try something a little different.
I realized that if I take a little time away from my daily life, I can take a moment to reflect, see the big picture, and use that perspective to move forward. This is your chance to think strategically.
So this weekend, I'd like to focus on an issue that dominates technology and business: artificial intelligence.
The road to artificial intelligence

story
What I produced was more of a documentary than an interview program, and I produced it in two parts. The first part is a history of AI, from its early days to the launch of his ChatGPT. It is partly historical and partly philosophical. But I think it's also the basis for understanding why we pursue AI and are fascinated by AI.
The second part or episode is more contemporary and extends to business and technology practices.
Let's take a look at why something called generative AI is transformative. If you're a fan of the show, you know that I'm a technology enthusiast and I love technology, but I've been in this game for 40 years. We try not to get caught up in the hype about any product. services and development.
Therefore, I do not intend to predict the future. All I'm going to do is talk about this like a scatter plot. If you place many points in a 2-by-2 matrix, they may end up scattered all over the place. It may also begin to show a pattern and point in a certain direction.
Generative AI is like that, and it seems to be spreading out on the map, but when you connect the dots and draw a line, you see something that seems inevitable to me: the way we work. It will lead you to one of the biggest changes in the way you live. in human history.
And not only is change inevitable, but the pace and impact of that change may be greater than we imagine.
So for the second episode, we thought we'd take a look back at what's happened in the less than two years since ChatGPT was launched. We will take inventory of the current situation and see what happens over the next few months, focusing primarily on how it will impact our business.
It will still take some time for the changes to permeate our lives, but it will be shorter than you think. And change – our ability to adapt also takes time.
Again, it's not hype. It's just drawing the line against the inevitable.
