A pizza delivery company in Toronto, Canada, was subjected to a racist taunt from a customer during a routine delivery, in a video that has been widely shared. The delivery worker, who appears to be of South Asian descent, was subjected to derogatory comments and verbal bullying from a male customer, which he recorded in a TikTok video.

The young agent was delivering food to Canadian pizza chain Pizza Pizza when an argument broke out over a lack of change to give to a customer.

The viral clip begins with a customer repeatedly asking the delivery person to call customer care because he doesn't have cash to hand over to the customer.

The angry customer, whose face is not shown, handed the clerk a $20 bill and was expecting cash change.

The title of the video is “Me vs. the Pizza Man.”

“That's exactly the money you have to give me. You think I've never ordered food before? Dummy. You idiot. Please call me at work,” he says from his iPhone. he said to the agent who was calling customer care.

“Go ahead if you can. Go ahead if you can. I'll show you something,” the customer said, continuing his rant.

The delivery person shared the details of the order on the phone with customer service and asked for advice on what to do. He said he was being abused by customers.

“The customer was saying horrible things to me. He's abusing me… Can I cancel my order? I don't have any change right now,” he said over the phone.

He received instructions from customer service and hung up.

“I'd like you to return what I ordered. I'll bring you the change and I'll give it to you,” he tells the customer. When he insists on taking food home, customers pick up bags on the floor and mock and imitate his accent.

The customer also refuses to answer calls from customer service.

“Fucking clown. This is the worst delivery driver ever. Fire this guy,” he yelled as the delivery driver called his employer again for instructions.

In the end, he leaves with the delivery box, even though the customer continues to abuse him.
