ENDIcott, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Union Endicott High School is being recognized for how it engages students with technology.
UE's Technology Education Department has been named a Program of Excellence through the New York State Technology Education and Engineering Association Awards Committee.
UE offers a variety of technology classes including automotive, welding, construction, aerospace engineering, woodworking, and more.
Instead of attending BOCES, students can gain hands-on industry experience while staying in their own district.
Tom Palazzo, one of three technology teachers at UE, hopes the award will lead to new job and internship experiences for his students.
