Evan Mobley had 17 points, Jarrett Allen added 17 and 13 rebounds, and the Cleveland Cavaliers bounced back from an embarrassing loss in Miami 24 hours earlier by defeating the Charlotte Hornets 115-92 on Monday night.
Mobley had a career-high eight assists and seven rebounds in just 25 minutes. It was his second game back after missing nine games with an ankle sprain.
On Sunday, the Cavs lost by 37 points to the Heat, who at one point had a 45-point lead. The loss was a low point for a tired Cleveland team plagued by injuries and falling behind in the Eastern Conference standings.
But a matchup against the struggling Hornets was exactly what the Cavs needed to end their losing streak at three.
For Cleveland, George Niang made five 3-point shots and scored 17 points. Cleveland remained among the East's top teams for several months, but lost six of eight games and fell just four games out of a spot.
Brandon Miller had 24 points and Miles Bridges had 13 points for Charlotte. The Hornets, who won 17 games, have lost five straight and 12 of 14 games.

Marcus Sasser scored 24 points for the Pistons, the worst in the NBA, but the Pistons lost seven straight and fell to 12-60. Top players Cade Cunningham, Jalen Duren, Orser Thompson, Simone Fontequo and Isaiah Stewart were out with injuries.
Hawks 120, Celtics 118
ATLANTA (AP) — DeAndre Hunter scored 24 points. Decisive 3-point shot with 9.2 seconds leftand the patchwork Atlanta Hawks rallied from a 30-point deficit on Monday night to defeat the NBA-leading Boston Celtics, 120-118.
The Celtics won 20 of 22 games, bringing their nine-game winning streak to State Farm Arena. The momentum certainly looked like it wasn't in danger in the first half, when Al Horford's 3-pointer put Boston ahead 68-28 with just under four and a half minutes left.
But the Hawks clung to the last play-in spot in the East and were one of the most disappointing teams in the league, with All-Star guard Trae Young and three other key players out with injuries. The comeback started out of nowhere.
It was Atlanta's biggest upset victory since at least the 1997-98 season, when the NBA began recording detailed play-by-play records.
Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 22 points and Murray had 19 points, but the Hawks were actually supported by several players who are usually buried deep on the bench.
The Celtics lost despite Jayson Tatum scoring 37 points. Brown added 24.

Corey Kispert added 19 points and 12 rebounds. The Wizards, who have the second-worst record in the NBA with Marvin Bagley III scoring 16 points, were avenged for last week's 29-point loss at Chicago.
DeMar DeRozan led Chicago with 27 points. Coby White scored 22 points as the Bulls suffered their third straight loss.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Luka Doncic had 29 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds and Dallas defeated Utah.
Kyrie Irving scored 27 points for the Mavericks, who won their fourth straight game. PJ Washington had 16 points and Daniel Gafford had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Lauri Markkanen made six 3-pointers and scored 34 points for Utah. Markkanen ranks third among 7-footers in the NBA with 1,001 3-pointers made seven years into his career.
Nuggets 128, Grizzlies 103
DENVER (AP) — Nikola Jokic had 29 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, Christian Braun had 17 points and Denver defeated Memphis.
Jokic, who left the game with Denver leading by 21 points and 27 seconds left in the third quarter, had two assists, coming close to his 23rd triple-double of the season.
Lamar Stevens scored a season-high 19 points for the Grizzlies. Scottie Pippen Jr. added 17 points.
KINGS 108, 76ERS 96 — Domantas Sabonis recorded his NBA-leading 25th triple-double of the season on a milestone night, leading Sacramento to a victory over Philadelphia.
Sabonis had 11 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, making him just the fifth player in NBA history to record at least 25 triple-doubles in a season, joining Nikola Jokic, Russell Westbrook, Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson. He became a player.
Sabonis also had 54 consecutive double-doubles, tying him with Kevin Love for the longest streak since the NBA-ABA merger in 1976-77. Sabonis is far behind Chamberlain's all-time record of 227 consecutive double-doubles, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
