“I've transitioned to soft bags because I travel every week. I have a question/If you can find a recommendation for a hard case bag that won't break with rough handling, please help,” an individual posted.
Another added: “I went through the same thing with my luggage.”
“Same thing happened with my bag. I had the same bag. I did some fiber welding and it worked,” a third person wrote.
A fourth said: “Catch the customer service team at the airport you arrive and file a complaint immediately. Otherwise they will refuse to pay you compensation, saying you have not filed a formal complaint. . Don't leave until they do. Take a photo of your bag, preferably on your baggage belt, so you can also see your flight details on the screen.”
User X further said: “Keep your luggage tags handy. I had the same experience with Vistara, but since I had the suitcase's warranty, I was able to get a refund equal to the market price for a similar suitcase on Amazon. I did it. You had to spend an hour and a half at the airport and you didn't leave the airport until the customer service person took care of you. They offered you a meager amount of money like 1,000 to get you to quit. But it's still worth persevering and getting fair compensation.”
