You-Fan Chai, Manying Huang, and Alaina Rhoades spent months analyzing data for a selected city (Denver, Colorado) to create a “citizen-centric report” for that city.
“Winning this competition was really surreal and a great learning experience,” Chai said. “This contest allowed us to test our skills in finding the information we needed about Denver, Colorado.”
According to Chai, the team used Canva and CapCut to make their reports, presentations, and videos visually appealing.
“We encourage students to participate in competitions like this, not only to win prizes, but also to develop themselves through learning experiences,” Chai said.
