On the streets, a new terminology has emerged, synonymous with the slang term “pause.”
XXL reports that X, formerly known as Twitter User, used the phrase “No Diddy” in place of the technical term used after an individual makes a statement that could be considered gay. It is said that they are doing so.

Rappers like Cam'ron popularized the offensive phrase “no homo” in the '90s. It appears that he was introduced to the phrase “No Diddy” on social media on March 19th. A guest on DJ Akademiks' podcast used this new slang. The controversial creator interviewed musician Quilly.
How did this phrase become popular?
The Phili rapper inserts “No Diddy” multiple times during the interview.
Additionally, producer BNYX also used the phrase in a tweet the next day.
The author of the song quotes Quiley, “I have all my men in position. Didi is not there.”
The phrase “No Diddy” may appear to refer to sexual misconduct allegations against Puff, particularly those involving other men. Rodney 'Lil Rod' Jones sued the Bad Boy CEO in February for sexual harassment and assault.
The record producer is seeking $30 million in damages. The music mogul maintains his innocence.
As previously reported, a settlement has been reached with singer Cassie. His ex-girlfriend accused him of sexual assault and human trafficking.
Social media reacts to new slang
Commenters under The Shade Room's post about the phrase pointed out that the Grammy winner would try to dissociate himself from this nickname.

Some roomies thought the phrase was comical and fitting.
