Paperboard packaging manufacturer Colbert Packaging Corp. ini Kenosha announced the promotion of account executive Ryan Hart to vice president of sales and marketing.
Hart has been in the packaging industry since 2002, when he joined Barger Packaging in Elkhart, Indiana. When Colbert acquired his Barger facility in March 2004, Ryan joined Colbert and moved into a sales role responsible for new business development.
Mr. Hart will lead Colbert's sales and marketing efforts across multiple industries, with a focus on the healthcare sector.
“I am passionate about building deep customer relationships through unparalleled responsiveness and facilitating fun, solution-driven experiences for both customers and prospects,” said Hart.
This role was previously held by Ron Johnson, who will assume an advisory role as senior vice president of sales. Mr Johnson said he had developed a “close and collaborative relationship” with Mr Hart over 15 years of working together.

“I'm excited that Ryan is taking the next step towards this leadership role,” said Johnson. “I will continue to be involved with the sales team in an advisory capacity, working with strategic accounts, and working closely with Ryan. We intend to ensure a smooth transition.” .
Johnson has worked in the packaging industry since 1981. He led Colvair's sales and marketing team, and he was instrumental in establishing the flexo printing division. In addition to his sales oversight responsibilities, Mr. Johnson will remain an active member of Colbert's Board of Directors.
Colbert CEO Nancy MacDougall said she was “delighted” to have Hart in the leadership role, adding that he brings his “deep experience, dedication to customers, and vision of sustainability to the business.” He emphasized his desire for growth.
