KALAMAZOO, MI — A women's shopping event was held Saturday at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center in Kalamazoo.
The 14th annual Women's Lifestyle Expo featured something for every woman.
A wide range of companies and organizations exhibited, offering everything from shopping to massages and more.
For organizers, supporting local women's business ventures is one of the pillars of the event.
“I think it's really important to not only support local small businesses, but also support women in business,” said Heather Dombos, owner of Women's Lifestyle Expo.
“I'm really passionate about supporting young women who are just starting out in business, and I love inviting them out and showcasing their businesses and talents,” she added.
In addition to local businesses, the event also featured an exotic petting zoo, a bounce house, face painting, a DJ and female employees of the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
Aroma Lab also made an appearance, creating special fragrances for attendees.
“It brings the community together,” said Blair Oakes, owner of Blair Oakes Photography Studio, a boudoir photography studio.
“I think it's important that women continue to empower each other and just be there to support each other,” she added.
According to organizers, the 15th Women's Lifestyle EXPO is scheduled to be held from March 21 to 22, 2025.
