A Leinster blitz at either interval gave the league leaders a comfortable 31-7 victory over Zebre Parma in the United Rugby Championship.
Rob Russell opened the scoring for Ireland, while Jacopo Turla equalized for Italy.
However, a try from Andrew Osborne just before half-time and goals from Luke McGrath and Scott Penney early in the second period put the game out of reach for the hosts.
Leinster then made the scoreline even brighter thanks to Russell's efforts in the final stages of the game, maintaining a four-point lead at the top of URC.

Leinster followed just four minutes later when Ross Byrne's inside ball was played to Russell and the winger accelerated past the Zebre defenders for a superb 45-metre solo score.
Byrne added the conversion and the passive Zebre defense almost let loose again when Leinster full-back Ciaran Frawley attacked in space eight minutes later, but he was dragged five meters out. Mareta.
Leinster center Liam Turner received a yellow card for head-butting contact with Zebre fly-half Geronimo Prisciantelli, and the home side quickly equalized.
Prisciantelli was the architect, finding winger Scott Gregory with a pinpoint-accurate kick and his pass sent Italian international Trulla sprinting for the fly-half to score the try.
It was a trying day for Leinster, but Osborne put them back in front nine minutes before half-time as he collected a well-weighted kick inside Zebre's 22 and finished well.
Byrne's conversion made it 14-7 and Zebre ended the first half down by one man after flanker Iacopo Bianchi received a yellow card for an off-the-ball tackle on Leinster's Will Connors.
McGrath grabbed Leinster's third try early in the second period, and five minutes later Penny broke through Turner to break through the Zebre defense before being chased over the Zebre line by McGrath, before Russell scored his second late on. Added.

Bulls are too strong for Dragons
Despite a spirited performance, the Dragons lost 31-10 at home to the in-form Bulls, leaving them limp in the United Rugby Championship standings.
The hosts competed hard throughout, but the Bulls always had the extra power and class to secure a bonus point victory and move into second place.
Kurt-Lee Arendse, Mpilo Gumede, Embrose Papier and Johan Grobbelaar scored tries for the South African side, with Chris Smith scoring all four and adding a penalty.
The Dragons fought back with a try from Corey Baldwin, scored by Will Reid, and a penalty from Kai Evans, but it was not enough to prevent a 10th defeat in 12 league games this season.
The Dragons got off to a promising start with some good kicking from Evans and Steph Hughes, holding the Bulls to just 22 points in the opening 10 minutes.
However, the hosts were unlikely to capitalize on their attacking infrastructure and it was the South Africans who grabbed their first point with Smith converting a penalty in the 16th minute.
The Dragons came under pressure with a set scrum, but were still able to maintain possession and Evans' penalty paid off, leaving the score tied at the end of the first quarter.
The home side's defense was put to the test when powerful flanker Marco van Staden broke through the tackles of Rhodri Williams and Evans and ran deep into the opposition half, but a penalty relieved the pressure for the Dragons.

Wales then received several hammer blows in quick succession. First they lost hooker Brodie Coghlan to injury, then Reid was found guilty of kicking the ball away in an offside position, and the Bulls took the advantage when a long pass from Willie Le Roux sent Arendse flying away. Ta.
Reed was able to return without further damage to the scoreboard, but his team still led 10-3 at the interval.
After the restart, the Bulls livened up the game with an incredible score. A great offload from Kanan Moody created space for Arendse on the right. The ball was recycled by Le Roux and given a cross-field kick into the hands of Devon Williams, who provided Gumede with the scoring pass.
The tenacious Dragons kept their lines intact for long periods, but late tries from Papier and Grobbelaar gave the Bulls a bonus point, with Baldwin scoring a disappointing goal for the hosts.
14-a-side Lions hammer Connacht
The Lions beat Connacht 38-14 at Dexcom Stadium, brushing aside prop Asenathy Ntlabakaniye's early red card to secure their first win in Ireland.
After scoring 40 points against the Sharks in their last match, Ivan van Rooyen's side dominated the Irish province and progressed into the top eight of the United Rugby Championship.
Franke Horn and JC Pretorius both crossed, and the Lions responded well to Ntlabakaniye's sending off for a high tackle in the 16th minute to go into half-time 12-7.
Despite a try from Cian Prendergast, Connacht struggled and Edwill van der Merwe's interception goal in the 48th minute raised hopes of the Lions' first away win since beating the Scarlets in November. Ta.
JJ Hanrahan doubled Connacht's try tally with his second conversion to pull them back to 19-14, but Erich Cronje, Horn and substitute Morne van den Berg sealed a six-try solitary victory for Jordan. -Hendrikse finished with four conversions.
