A woman who took her dog to a local dog daycare center found herself involved in an unfortunate accident, claiming the center sent her home with the wrong dog.
In a viral clip that has over 300,000 views on TikTok as of this writing, Maddie (@stuttebooty) opens up about an incident in which she took away the wrong pet for two weeks.
She explained that her 7-month-old golden retriever puppy, Farley, was acting strange. Maddie becomes even more suspicious when she sees another dog named Charlie who looks just like Furry in the doggy daycare stream.
Maddy said she didn't want to believe the two were mixed up, but the exchange between her and her fiancé made her think he might have something in mind.
“I sent this to my fiance and I was like, 'Are you sure you want to tell me you haven't switched my dog?'” she said. “I was telling him, 'Maybe they changed my dog.' They said they had another golden retriever puppy that looked just like him.”
Maddy also claimed that the daycare had removed the dogs' collars while they were playing together, leading them to conclude that they had been replaced by mistake.
Her theory was then confirmed when she took the new dog to the vet and discovered that the dog was not microchipped or neutered. Farley, on the other hand, was.
“My dog is healed,” she continued. “I have the documentation that my dog has been cured. [The vet] You say, “This dog is still intact,” but this is not your dog. ”
She brought her concerns to the daycare, and the dogs were eventually returned. Maddie added in a follow-up video that the two dogs were well cared for.
