Omaha police said a woman experiencing a mental health crisis led to officers calling the police. On Saturday morning, officers responded to a shooting call near 30th Avenue and Acadia Avenue. Responding officers did not respond to their radios, so the call for help was changed within minutes. Officers at the scene told KETV that the woman fired into the backyard because she thought someone was there. When police arrived on the scene, the woman fired more shots.
