Lamont Yoder, RN, has been named president of Corewell Health East (formerly Beaumont Health) in the Detroit metropolitan area. He will report directly to the system's chief operating officer, Dr. Darryl Elmousi, who is serving as interim president.
Mr. Yoder will join the senior leadership team of Corewell Health President and CEO Tina Freese Decker. He will begin his new role on May 6th.
Yoder previously served as division chief for Banner Health, a nonprofit health system in Arizona, and currently serves as division chief for 13 of the system's 30 hospitals, according to a press release from Corewell Health. ing.
He has more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience and has held numerous leadership positions, including multiple Chief Nursing Officer positions at Vanguard Health Systems, Inc. and OhioHealth. Additionally, he has been active in several state and national nurse executive organizations.
