Manchester City is 'making a mockery' of the Premier League through its lack of co-operation with 115 FFP claims.
Frustration at City's lack of action on the allegations leveled against them more than a year ago is growing amid sanctions from other clubs.
Everton were originally deducted 10 points but were reduced to six after review, with further charges pending, Nottingham Forest were deducted four points earlier this month and Leicester are awaiting announcement of their sanction.
City's FFP violations from 2009 to 2018 include failing to disclose financial remuneration for one of its managers, failing to provide accurate financial information and failing to comply with UEFA's FFP rules. It will be done.
Premier League chief executive Richard Masters confirmed that a date for City's hearing had been set, but did not specify the date, although it is widely believed to be in 2025.
A 52-page document detailing the findings and reasons for Nottingham Forest's four-point deduction suggests that: City could be 'banned' from the Premier League for more serious breaches.
Journalist Pete O'Rourke said: Football Insider's Inside Track Podcast He spoke of what he had heard from the Premier League about City's case and claimed the clubs' lack of cooperation had turned the process into a “travesty”.
“This is what the Premier League says'' [to me] Manchester City's charges are more complex [Everton’s and Nottingham Forest’s]” he told Inside Track.
“Man City don't seem to be as cooperative as the other two clubs and that may be why it's dragged on so long. It's the elephant in the room with 115 charges hanging.
“This makes the Premier League look like a bit of a farce and it really makes a mockery of the league that there are accusations against Everton and Forest and nothing has been done about it. 1, while City has 115.
“Man City have been in a situation with UEFA where they could have been kicked out of the Champions League for a couple of seasons. They fought in that game, they fought in the Premier League.
“We need to make some decisions to get the game going in our favor.”
