The Business of VU program is accepting applications for the 8th class in Fall 2024. Sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Finance, this program provides educational opportunities for the Vanderbilt community to learn about university business operations and higher education. landscape.

The program was launched in 2017 and consists of interactive sessions covering topics such as VU governance, global impact on higher education, economics, funding, and innovation. Participants must complete readings and participate in discussions during nine 2-hour sessions. Sessions are held on campus every other Thursday from 3pm to 5pm from late August to early December.

To ensure an engaging experience, the program is limited to 35 participants. Participants will be selected from diverse perspectives across campus and from different schools and units to ensure broad representation across campus. Applications will be considered based on level of interest, background of experience, and Vanderbilt's commitment to building cohorts that are representative of schools and units across campus. Those not selected in fall 2024 may reapply to her Business of VU program in the future.
