NBA rookies Grady Dick and Anthony Black's postgame jersey swap is trending

Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic youngsters Grady Dick and Anthony Black set the internet on fire when they were spotted changing jerseys after Sunday's game.

Shortly after the incident, famous NBA podcaster Rob Perez shared a video on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) of them planning a hilarious moment.

After the Raptors lost 111-96 to Orlando at Kia Center in Orlando on Sunday, the two young men met to exchange jerseys and take a photo with a double meaning, and the interaction also went viral on social media. It spread to Perez said the young people discussed their choices beforehand. Perez saw Dick whisper “fuck you” before they exchanged jerseys.

It will be interesting to see if the NBA reacts to this humorous incident. Otherwise, Dick will have ample opportunity to trade jerseys with players with interesting last names.

In the game against the Orlando Magic, Dick scored 10 points, including two 3-pointers, in a 27-minute span. Black, on the other hand, came off the bench and scored two points during his three-minute stay.

Dick has gotten off to a slow start this season and has struggled to find consistency. He also played a few games in the NBA G League before participating in this tournament. However, after a 23-45 loss to the Toronto Raptors midway through the season and many players were injured, Dick started to lose his form, although he did get some chances. In February of this year, he averaged 11.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.5 steals, and 2.1 3-pointers in each game he played.

While these performances may not improve overnight, Dick still has an impressive 42.6 percent shooting percentage from deep on 4.9 three-pointers per game. He also displayed a talent for shooting and was selected for the lottery. In addition to shooting, he shows both offensive and defensive skills and often gets chances to take the lead.
