new system tools of DraftKings Sportsbook Stats Hub Highlights trends over the past 7 days, past 30 days, and the entire season based on a variety of factors. In this article, we'll take a look at some of the systems that have been trending over the past week, with the goal of finding other games that can be applied to those systems in next week's games.
There is one thing to note about the upcoming system that matches the sections throughout this article. NBA favorites/losers, spreads, and totals are typically not available until the night before the game. Also, some systems may be based on the results of previous games. Please make sure the games described in this section match before making your selection.
System: Home favorites who did not play the previous day ATS
This season, the system is even with 267 wins, 267 losses, and 7 losses. Until last week, the system's success rate was even worse. However, the home favorites are 15-8 ATS over the past seven days, in part because they missed the previous day's game.So I'm going to do a heat check on this play.
There are five games on Monday that fit into this system.
- IND vs. CLE
- PHI vs. MIA
- CHI vs. POR
- SAC vs. MEM
- GSW vs. NYK Line
We'll keep things simple here by using the state of Indiana. It's been a while since these two teams played, and the Cavs haven't faced Pascal Siakam in a Pacers uniform. The last time Siakam played against Cleveland, he scored 18 points in a three-point loss for the Raptors.
His new team had great success against the Cavaliers. Indy is 2-0 ATS, straight up against Cleveland. Not only that, but we've seen the Pacers beat the Cavs with both Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell in the lineup (5-point win) and without Mitchell (12-point win). With both Mobley and Mitchell out, winning by at least three possessions, something they already accomplished against Cleveland, seems very possible.
System Picks for March 18th
IND -6.5
System: If the home winner is in the second leg of a back-to-back, the total is over.
Unders are all the rage right now, but that doesn't mean over systems don't still exist. This is a great example. Since Feb. 23, the system has gone 11-6-1. As a result, they had a very strong performance throughout the season with 51 wins, 35 losses, and 1 draw.
The only game that fits this system on Monday is the Celtics vs. Pistons. If this system is applied, Boston is over his 3-2, and his average game total in this setting is 232.6 points, which is nearly 10 points higher than his total for this game. It will be expensive.
Similarly, Detroit is in the second leg of a back-to-back. The over is 4-2 when the Pistons are playing non-stop as road dogs. The average total for these games is 232.8.
