Police have arrested a man accused of threatening an Orange County business while leaving a rifle in his car.
The Garden Grove Police Department announced in an Instagram post Friday that a man is being investigated for allegedly threatening an employee at a local business during an apparent contract dispute.
According to investigators, the man told employees that he had a gun and that he was going to shoot him.
During the investigation, police identified the man as 61-year-old Stephen Joseph Strigas and determined that he had multiple firearms registered in his name.
Police arrested Strigas at his workplace in Fontana on Thursday, with a loaded AR-10 rifle in his car, law enforcement officials said.
Officers also recovered more guns and ammunition while executing a search warrant at a home in San Bernardino County.
Police said Strigas was booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of menacing.
