After a successful 2023 collaboration, Riverside County Animal Services (RCDAS) once again partners with Helpful SoCal Honda Dealers to offer free pet adoptions as part of annual St. Portrick's Day event on March 1st When you do, many lucky people and pets will be born. 16.
“We are very grateful to the Helpful Honda team and their sponsorship of this free pet adoption day. Reducing the cost barrier is a great way for those looking to open their home to a shelter pet in need. We see Helpful Honda as a true partner in helping improve the lives of pets in shelters by allowing residents to adopt pets for free.” said Riverside County District 2 Supervisor Karen Spiegel.
On Saturday, March 16th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., all pets will be adopted free of charge at the following shelter locations:
- Coachella Valley Animal Campuslocated at 72-050 Pet Land Place in Thousand Palms.
- San Jacinto Valley Animal Campuslocated at 581 S. Grand Ave. in San Jacinto.
- Western Riverside County Shelter, located at 6851 Van Buren Blvd.in Jurupa Valley
The Helpful SoCal Honda team will be at the Western Riverside County Shelter in Jurupa Valley on March 16th, then on March 30th at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus in Thousand Palms to collect poop scoops. -Welcome residents with souvenirs such as bags and pets. Food bowls, snacks, etc.
“We continue to experience severe overcrowding at our shelters here in Riverside County, and this is a great opportunity to reduce the number of animals in our shelters by adopting pets and saving lives,” said Erin, Director of Riverside County Animal Services.・Mr. Gettys said.
