Mayor Domenic J. Sarno said, “I am once again outraged that some of our judges and court systems continue to fail to hold violent criminals who carry guns accountable. is empowering and emboldening them to go out and commit even more horrific crimes against my people. Thankfully, proper emergency response procedures were in place with the brave officers of the Springfield Quebec Police Department, science security guards, staff and teachers, and camera systems to address this situation. It didn't turn into a mass shooting because it was quickly quelled. Once again, I urge judges and parts of the court system to take violent repeat offenders off the streets and into neighborhoods. And two, to get the state legislature to pass my bail reform bill, which thankfully was sponsored and reintroduced by State Representative Angelo J.Pupolo.”
