Calling all animal lovers! The Worcester County Humane Society's 23rd Annual Boardwalk-In for Pets returns to Ocean City's historic Boardwalk this spring.

When is Boardwalking for Pets held?
Boardwalkin' for Pets is scheduled to launch on Saturday, April 27th. Registration for all participants and pets will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The walk begins at 9 a.m. at the south end of Ocean City's historic Boardwalk and ends at 28th Street and back. Participants can sign up online to start fundraising today. The more funds participants raise, the more likely they are to win great prizes.
This year's event will include a special doggy dig, scavenger hunt, and afterportee, with a variety of prizes and giveaways.

What is the Worcester County Humane Society?
Worcester County Humane Society is a no-kill animal shelter located at 12330 Eagles Nest Road in Berlin, Maryland. This animal shelter was founded in 1976 with the goal of optimizing the health and welfare of pets.
According to the Worcester County Humane Society's official website, its mission is to focus on animal welfare while providing adoption services, low-cost spay/neuter services, and comprehensive humane programs to local pets and pet owners. The aim is to provide a caring and sheltered shelter.
Animal shelters are private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are funded primarily by thrift stores, private donors, fundraisers, and grants. Boardwalkin' for Pets is Worcester County Humane Society's largest annual fundraiser.
