Food vlogger Kripal Amanna recently reviewed the food served on a Vistara flight from Bangalore to New Delhi. Amanna said the airline meals reminded her of “inedible meals served by indifferent cooks in poorly run hostels.”
The vlogger shared a photo of the non-vegetarian meal with chocolate dessert and wrote: @airvistara This evening's main meal on his flight UK820 evoked nostalgia! I'm talking about barely edible meals served by indifferent cooks in poorly run hostels. Bland taste, texture like the chicken should have ideally been eaten hours earlier, and a chocolate dessert that probably became the benchmark for a kindergarten cooking project. wonderful! ” Amanna posted on X.

After a scathing review from a food vlogger, airlines are now taking action. “Hello, Kripalu. All of our meals are prepared with the highest quality standards in mind, and we are disappointed to learn that you were disappointed,” Vistara replied.
The airline also asked vloggers to message them with flight details and other information so it could “investigate the issue and address the issue as soon as possible.”
Please DM us with your flight details, phone number, and a convenient time to contact us so that we can investigate the issue and address the issue as soon as possible. Thank you, Muskan. https://t.co/IaDysdHZUk (2/2)

The video blogger's review caught the attention of the internet and garnered several reactions. One of them slammed the airline and said, “This demand is like SBI asking for three months for a printout that should take two days at most.” Since he gave me his flight details and I can see his name in the mail, wouldn't it be easy to get his phone number from my records and call him? ”
“I ate chicken rice on the Delhi-Bangalore flight on the night of December 30th. I was sick for 4 days with a stomach infection… so please stop preaching,” another user shared.
