Pets become homeless for a variety of reasons and need a new home and a second chance. If you're looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter's many residents. They all make great pets and great companions.
Currently, adoptions are by appointment only, and this is working very well. Donors also provided supplies and funds for homeless animals at the shelter.

Athena was surrendered to a shelter because she didn't get along with the other dogs in the house. He is a very sweet 3 year old terrier mix. She knows how to sit and she is very interested in food. Athena loves attention and she likes to play with squeaky toys.
Due to her past history, age restrictions for children in the home may apply, as she needs to be the only dog in the home, which may be too much for small children. Athena hopes to get a second chance to live in her beloved forever home soon.
mouse
Mouse is a small, cute girl, about 2 years old, who came to the shelter as a stray. She is a terrier mix who loves attention and being around people. She will do best in a home without other dogs or cats.
Mouse is a fun girl who sometimes jumps up when she gets excited. As such, age restrictions may apply to children in the household as she may be too much for small children. Please consult with the staff at the evacuation center. Is there a suitable place for a mouse?
