How Employers Can Participate in the MHCC PHS Audit Program
Audits help employers determine what is in place and what is missing. Employers interested in joining the audit program can start by attending the MHCC training course on Integrating Psychological Health and Safety. This course will prepare you to take the MHCC PHS audit. Employers can hire their own internal auditors trained and certified by Opening Minds, or they can hire third-party auditors through Opening Minds.
How can individuals become certified to conduct MHCC PHS audits?
All auditors, including internal and third-party auditors, are trained and certified through the MHCC PHS Audit Program. Training for auditors includes an integrated psychological health and safety course as a prerequisite to the five-day auditor training course. To be fully certified, auditors must successfully complete training and meet MHCC PHS audit quality assurance requirements to conduct their first audit.
