A global lifestyle retailer and general merchandise store is coming to Johnson County.
Chinese retailer MINISO plans to open a new store in Overland Park this summer.
MINISO will open at Oak Park Mall
- The retailer will occupy space at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, 11149 W. 95th St.
- MINISO will be located adjacent to Toy House and Chico's on the first floor of the mall.
- The company has not yet announced regular business hours for its Overland Park store, but Oak Park Mall is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
MINISO is a specialty goods store
- The company's inventory is aimed at “young people around the world” and features a wide range of products.
- We sell everything from household items such as tableware and fragrance diffusers to cosmetics such as perfume and lipstick.
- In addition to high-tech items and snacks such as popcorn, MINISO also sells clothing and accessories such as eye masks, umbrellas, and slippers.
This will be the brand's first Johnson County store.
- It is also the first MINISO store in the Kansas City metro area and the state of Kansas.
- The brand was originally founded in 2013 in Guangzhou, China (where it is still headquartered), but has since expanded to the United States as well as many other countries.
- MINISO's presence in the United States is currently mostly limited to California and Florida.
