Stephanie Noble, who goes by @iamstephanienoble on TikTok, said she is childless by choice and would rather take a nap than deal with a crying child.
“Being a mother is the most important job in the world, but that doesn't mean every woman needs to sign up for it,” the content creator and business owner told the Post.
In a video posted four days ago that has now been viewed nearly 3 million times, she said she must always defend her position of not having children.
She said one of the questions people often ask when they say they don't want children is, “What is your purpose?”
“My purpose is to get my nails done, go shopping, treat myself,” she said.
She then modeled a new designer Goyard purse and Aro's new sweatsuit.
In addition to shopping, Noble said she loves traveling and getting a good night's sleep.
“Have you ever taken a nap? It's like the funniest thing ever. Nice. I really like napping,” she explained.
She then hit back at the trolls who made her defend her lifestyle.
“So don't tell me I don't have a purpose just because I don't have kids. How dare you!” she said.
Although Noble may face criticism in her daily life for choosing not to have children, she has received a lot of support from viewers of her videos.
“Same girl! 41. Children are free to choose. But I'm a fur mama,” one person said.
“I'm 63 years old and my children are free on their own terms. It's been a great life! Married, owns a ranch and travels,” another added.
“It hurts me so much when people say things like this. I didn't choose not to have children, so it hurts so much when people tell me that I don't have a purpose because I don't have children. ” said a third.
