An end-of-the-world preparer says he's quitting his traditional 9-to-5 lifestyle to live a completely off-grid lifestyle in anticipation of a global 'collapse'. He talked about his decision to become homeless.
Aaron Fletcher had a corporate job that was very much in line with modern society's expectations, but after becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the way the world was developing, he chose to walk away from that traditional way of life. did.
His reasoning? The 42-year-old believes that the “collapse” of society is “premature” and imminent.
Having given up his full-time job, he is now “voluntarily homeless”, living on a random farm with a flock of sheep and growing his own food.
He also disposed of most of his worldly possessions and carried his remaining belongings on his travels in a wooden wagon.
And he encourages others to make the switch before it's too late.
Aaron, a nomad and sustainability activist, told What's the Jam that he thinks it's going to be a hit with fans soon.
“We need to change pre-emptively and move away from the artificial economy.
“I think people should start producing more of their own stuff.” [own] Organic food and labor trade.

Aaron, a native of Southern Oregon, made a lifestyle change more than 15 years ago and claims his new lifestyle costs him “very little” each month.
He travels around the state in a small wagon he built from scratch around the state's farms, which require year-round maintenance.
That way, he claims, there will be a “lifelong” supply of fresh food whenever needed, especially in the event of a disaster.
He says, “Being a farm worker means you have a network of local farms that you can barter with, and you're not going to put all your eggs in one property basket.”
“I need to own multiple farms that can produce enough variety of food to stay healthy. If all else fails and people try to raid the land for supplies, a single If you depend on farms, nothing will come of it.”
“Many wealthy people are currently looking to move to homesteading, but the process of transitioning before selling their townhouses takes a long time, so they are looking for farmers to take care of their produce in the meantime. .
“Frustrated city dwellers need to know this and have hope that more jobs will come to work here and help those with resources develop their own farms at the right time.”
“Everyone will be dependent on the food produced on the farm because there are no other resources available. So there will always be jobs.”
Although he is cut off from traditional society in many ways, he still speaks with friends and family who support his lifestyle.
