Spotify has launched a new Song Psychic feature that helps users find answers to their questions through music.
Inspired by fortune telling, the Magic 8 Ball, and the decision fatigue that affects people every day, this new feature helps users answer questions through the lens of music.

For example, users can choose from a list of nine topics including school, style, lunch, love, career, themselves, the future, friends and family, and life's biggest mysteries.
Song Psychic then reads your mind, allowing users to choose from a variety of pre-populated questions such as “Should I go on this date?” or “Should I book a vacation?” Masu. or “What should I have for lunch?”
Once you select a question, a pondering screen will appear while Song Psychic finds the best song to answer your question.
Once the answer is displayed, users can listen to the song on the streaming platform, ask another question, and share the results on social media.
To launch the in-app feature, the streaming giant announced a creative marketing campaign across UK out-of-home and digital social platforms.
Spotify also speaks directly to you, providing answers from Song Psychic to the thousands of questions that come to mind throughout the day.
Song Psychic will come to life with a mix of static and video content in key London locations such as Shoreditch, Battersea Park, Oxford Street and Soho, as well as across the London Underground.
