Artificial intelligence has become one of the hottest trends in technology over the past few years, impacting every aspect of our lives, including education. As AI makes learning fun and easy, schools in Kerala have introduced humanoids as teachers.
The humanoid robot, named Iris, was unveiled last month at KTCT High School in Thiruvananthapuram in collaboration with Makerlabs Edutech Private Limited. Makerlabs said Iris was built as part of Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL), a 2021 NITI Aayog project to promote extra-curricular activities of students in schools.
