March is International Women's History Month, and it is fitting that we celebrate this day by honoring the women of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. This March, we want to highlight the amazing women who work in our beloved archdiocese and its affiliated institutions and celebrate their contributions and the talents they bring to our Church. The first week features the resilient women of the Greek Orthodox Women's Philoptochos Society.

What is the role of faith in my life?
My lifelong membership of Holy Resurrection and my upbringing in the Greek Orthodox Church have had a profound influence on me. I believe that faith and God are fundamental and that all actions lead to the supremacy of God. At Philoptochos, our efforts are rooted in faith and the teachings of Christ. In Holy Resurrection, Father Panteleimon Papadopoulos invites us to honor God in all our actions and to prioritize God's grace above all else. I do my best to incorporate this into my daily life, such as by serving as a camp counselor, where I strive to embody Christian virtues and be a role model for the children. Ultimately, faith in Christ reveals our true identity, resolves conflicts, and reveals God's transformative love.
