CVAS encourages anyone looking to bring a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoption at shelters.
Pets become homeless for a variety of reasons and need a new home and a second chance. If you're looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter's many residents. They all make great pets and great companions.
Currently, adoptions are by appointment only, and this is working very well. Donors also provided supplies and funds for homeless animals at the shelter.

LT Dan
Lt. Dunn was seen running around the area for about a week and was placed in a shelter. Lt. Dan is a kind man who loves attention and enjoys being around people. He loves playing chase with cats, so a cat-free home would be best for Dan. He knows how to sit and lie down.
Dan tested positive for Lyme disease and is currently receiving antibiotics. He needs to meet his whole family in his house. Is there a perfect place for this cute boy? CVAS, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Kennel License # 2090
cupid
Cupid came to the shelter as a stray, so we don't have much information about his past, but just look at that face! This orange and white boy is very sweet and very active. He is about a year old who loves to play. Will Cupid be able to capture your heart and home?
