Foothills Humane Society’s Pet of the Week – Shaq and Chamoy

Introducing Shaq, our gentle giant! He is a 2 year old shepherd mix weighing 114 pounds.
Shaq's favorite toy is a stuffed animal, which is very cute and gentle with him. Rather than destroying them, he just likes to carry them around, throw them into the air and catch them. He doesn't show much interest in balls or fetch, but he loves stuffed animals.
Shaq gets along well with other dogs and walks very well on a leash. Despite his size, he is very gentle. He doesn't like people or dogs around him while he's eating, so it's a good idea to give him treats and food away from other people so he can eat in peace.
Shaq is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and awaiting his forever home.
If you are interested in meeting or adopting Shaq, please submit an adoption application at https://foothillshumanesociety.org/adopt/adoption-application.
Introducing our vocal boy, Chamoy!
He likes to cuddle and tell everything about his life. Chamoy is certainly talkative and he loves attention. He gets along well with other cats and dogs, but only after a slow introduction first.
Chamoy is 3 years old and weighs 7 pounds. He is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and awaiting his forever home.
If you are interested in meeting or adopting a Chamoy, please submit an adoption application at https://foothillshumanesociety.org/adopt/adoption-application.
