important duties and responsibilities
- Pitch, take assignments, report and write hourly, daily and other stories about business and the culture of wealth and luxury, delivering high-quality, timely copy.
- We use digital best practices and innovative storytelling techniques to drive audience growth.
- Fosters strong, collaborative relationships with editors and reporters across the newsroom.
qualification
- At least 1-3 years of experience as a reporter for a digital news publisher. Experience in lifestyle or business news preferred.
- Ability to juggle multiple stories of different types, different speeds, and different topics.
- Some understanding of digital best practices, including story selection, structure, and SEO, is preferred.
- Passion for hourly and daily news and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This position is covered under the WGA-E Collective Bargaining Agreement at a minimum salary of $64,000 and a maximum salary of $65,000 per year, depending on years of relevant experience.
