NATCHEZ — Heath is a kind boy with a heart of gold. He is kennel trained, an excellent walker, and gets along well with cats and other dogs. He is currently living in his foster home and loves nothing more than curling up next to his human on the couch or bed, getting scratched and cuddled. His gentle personality makes him the perfect companion for Netflix binges, and he loves car rides and Pup Cups. He is sensitive to loud noises and unfamiliar situations, so it's best to have a quiet home all the time. Visit hoofbeatsandpawprintsrescue.org for more information or text 601-303-0672 to make an appointment to meet Heath.
Meet Miracle. She was about 2 years old and brought to the shelter as a stray dog. She walks well on a leash and is excitedly waiting for a new fur owner or temporary foster home. The Natchez-Adams County Humane Society shelter is located at 475 Liberty Road. Visitation is available Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 601-442-4001.
Next is Sissy. She was 4 years old and brought to the shelter as a surrender by her owner due to uncontrollable circumstances in her family. She is a very sweet girl and she is very talkative. Sissy is patiently waiting for her new family and she has already been spayed. The Natchez-Adams County Humane Society shelter is located at 475 Liberty Road. Visitation is available Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 601-442-4001.
Lastly is Surge. Don't be fooled by the name. Sarge is a very kind and laid-back person. He loves to play and he will be a great companion pup. Sarge is a hunting dog mix, and you know what that means. He will definitely alert you if anything is out of the ordinary. Now he was really relieved to know that. Please come and meet Sarge in person. Concordia PAWS (1212 First St., Ferriday, Louisiana) is open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dogs need a fenced yard or enclosure to keep them safe.
