KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Several animal shelters in the Kansas City area are teaming up to help spay and neuter hundreds of pets over the course of a weekend.
The Kansas City Spay/Neuter Collaborative will host free, community-wide clinics at multiple locations across the metro from March 8-10.
SNCKC hopes to spay or neuter 400 animals over the weekend in an effort to combat pet overpopulation in Kansas City.
In addition to surgery, all pets will receive basic vaccinations and be microchipped if not already chipped.

Each organization has different days and times for participating in weekend spay/neuter events.
